Job Description:

The Cloud Engineering Manager is responsible for leading technical delivery on client projects, overseeing architectural design sessions, and managing client expectations.

  • This role requires strong leadership skills to cultivate a collaborative team culture and provide guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Delivery Oversight: The Cloud Engineering Manager will function as technical oversight with strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements.
  • Project Management: Partner with the delivery team to ensure project milestones align with project plans and capture key client decisions.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Solutions: Have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure solutions and the delivery/execution of IaC (Bicep or Terraform).
  • Support Activities: Assist in breaking through project blockers to reach billable targets, facilitate change orders and project extensions for in-flight projects, and drive alignment where there are technical mesh points between other practice areas.
Business Development Leadership:
  • Exposure to 3Cloud Offerings: Gain exposure to other 3Cloud offerings in different practice areas.
  • New Opportunities: Identify new cloud infrastructure & security solution opportunities.
  • Standard Offerings: Lead and guide infrastructure offerings committees defining and driving standard offerings.
Growth Factors:
  • Trusted Advisor Status: Reach trusted advisor status within multiple accounts supporting 'Land & Expand' growth.
  • Engagement Enablement: Lead and guide multiple engagements enabling infrastructure team scaling out.
  • Team Support: Support teammates in unblocking engagements and remediating possible escalations.
  • Reusable Artifacts: Create reusable artifacts and content enabling team members to bill time to clients.
