Cloud Infrastructure Expert Wanted

We are looking for a seasoned cloud engineer to join our team and help us build, deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.

About the Role

  • This is an opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced cloud professional to lead the design, provision and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, focusing on Google Cloud Platform.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Linux systems, networking, DNS, firewalls and cloud security practices.
  • They will also be proficient in using tools like Terraform, Pulumi or Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration automation.
  • The role requires excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud-based applications.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and Helm is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and implement cloud infrastructure architecture that meets business requirements.
  2. Provision and configure cloud resources using Terraform, Pulumi or Ansible.
  3. Ensure high availability, scalability and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly.
  5. Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain cloud-based applications.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering or DevOps roles.
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (or AWS/Azure) and proficiency in using GCP services.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux systems, networking, DNS, firewalls and cloud security practices.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
  • Proficiency in using CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
  • Good understanding of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and Helm.
