Cloud Operations Engineer

The Cloud Operations Engineer is a key member of our cloud engineering team, responsible for designing and operating scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based systems. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure operations, DevOps practices, and IT service management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solution Design and Deployment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Infrastructure Management: Ensure the scalability, security, and high availability of cloud resources, including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Automation and Orchestration: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources.
  • Incident Response and Resolution: Participate in incident response efforts to identify and resolve issues affecting cloud services.
Required Skills:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Operations: Proven experience with cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated services.
  • DevOps Practices: Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous monitoring.
  • IT Service Management: Familiarity with IT service management frameworks and methodologies (e.g., ITIL).
  • Azure and AWS Certifications: Certified professional with expertise in Azure or AWS architecture, migration, and management.
  • Scripting and Automation: Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack).
