We're seeking a seasoned expert in cloud-based application development to join our team.

Job Overview

This role is focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and managing complex cloud platforms.

The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.

Responsibilities
  • Cloud Platform Design: Develop and implement automated containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on application concerns, including cloud-ready distributed application architectures, migrating workloads to containers, containerized development workflows, and integrating container platforms with automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance to the developer community on best practices associated with CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
  • Continuous Delivery Framework: Design, build, manage, and operate the continuous delivery framework and tools, and act as a subject matter expert on CI/CD for developer teams.
  • Infrastructure as a Service: Design, build, manage, and operate the infrastructure as a service layer that supports different platform services.
  • Automation: Write and build continuous delivery pipelines to manage and automate the lifecycle of different platform components.
Qualifications

Core Competencies (Must-have Competencies)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps or related IT field.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure DevOps operations, including building automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Docker as a Developer.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), including Operator installs, Helm charts, Cluster installs, Job configuration, and Monitoring.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitLab, and CI/CD processes.
  • Skilled in automating application deployments via CI/CD pipelines using best practices and open-source tooling.
  • Proficient in automating Platform as a Service (PaaS) infrastructure using tools such as.
  • Proficient with PowerShell.

Nice to Have:

  • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members, vendors, and management.

Educational Qualification/s

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Work Conditions

  • Remote work setup.
  • Schedule: 4 PM-1 AM MNL / 4 AM EST to 1 PM EST.
  • Monthly deployment support requires adjusting work hours on specific days.
