Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily database operations, audit checklists, ICAR/NCR & CAPs, and utilizing V2X applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the audit and corrective action database (s), VARMS/EVA.
  • Assist process owners in maintaining compliance with milestones and scheduled actions for audits and corrective actions.
  • Develop and deploy processes for encouraging process improvement initiatives.
  • Document processes, desktop guides, and manage all quality records according to program requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of Operations experience. One (1) to three (3) years of Quality experience preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, & Maximo.
    • Logical and critical thinking skills to quickly and effectively apply Quality Practices.
    • Excellent communicator both in writing and verbally.
    • Strong planning and organizational skills.
    • Candidate must also be able to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Working Conditions:
    • Works in a general office environment. Duties will involve the conduct of work in the outdoors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.
    • Potential exposure to chemical or biological agents could exist.
    • Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain areas is required.
    • Normal work week is 48 hours but must be able to work overtime or nights as required.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Work will require lifting up to 25 lbs. Stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, and prolonged sitting.
    • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas.
