IT Audit Manager

This role involves executing and leading IT audits, as well as managing multiple projects simultaneously. As an IT Audit Manager, you will be responsible for examining and assessing whether information processing facilities are designed to prevent data loss, tampering, or theft.

You will also assess and validate the accuracy and conformance of information processing facilities and data to organizational policies and standards. Additionally, you will confirm that all transactions and activities on information systems comply with set standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices, as well as experience with data analysis and continuous controls monitoring tools such as ACL. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint is also required.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will have hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of computer systems, including mainframes and PCs, along with their operating systems and major applications. They will also possess knowledge of the requirements and implementation of PCI DSS, including relevant internal IT and business controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine and assess information processing facilities for data integrity
  • Assess and validate accuracy and conformance of information processing facilities and data
  • Confirm compliance with set standards
  • Document and conclude audit work
  • Monitor/supervise work of IT auditors
  • Evaluate audit findings and recommendations
  • Advise process owners on corrective action plans
  • Direct audit functions and promote efficient practices
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/IT or Accounting
  • Certification in CISA, CIA, CISM, or CPA
  • Participation in professional organizations like IIA, ISACA
  • At least 5 years as IT Auditor or comparable experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices
  • Experience with data analysis and continuous controls monitoring tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on experience with computer systems and operating systems
  • Knowledge of PCI DSS requirements and implementation
