IT Security Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT security specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting audits and analyzing technical controls to ensure robust security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct SOC 1, SOC 2, and HIPAA audits with hands-on support from experts.
  • Analyze and strengthen tech controls to prevent security breaches.
  • Share findings with management to inform business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client operations and drive results.
  • Communicate clearly with clients and teammates to build trust and resolve issues.
  • Lead client meetings and develop relationships to achieve shared goals.
  • Provide regular updates and address challenges proactively to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Able to work independently or as part of a team to achieve objectives.
  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English language skills to communicate with clients and colleagues.
  • At least one year of experience in IT audit at a Big 4 firm or equivalent.
  • Bonus qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, cyber security, or MIS.
    • Certifications like CISA, CPA, CISSP, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or PCI QSA (active or in progress).

    • IT Audit Skills: Execute SOC 1/2 and HIPAA evaluations with precision.
    • Risk Identification: Identify and assess IT risks and gaps.
    • Compliance Standards: Expertise in SOC, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA.

    • Automation Platforms: Familiarity with Vanta, Drata, or Secureframe.
