Strategic Fleet Compliance Specialist

The role of a Strategic Fleet Compliance Specialist is to ensure that our fleet operations adhere to International Safety Management (ISM) Code and other relevant maritime safety, security, and environmental regulations.
Main Responsibilities- Evaluate and implement effective ISM Code compliance strategies across the fleet.
- Develop and maintain a robust Safety Management System (SMS) framework to align with international, flag state, and class requirements.
- Oversee vessel audits, inspections, and surveys to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards.
- Foster collaborative relationships with regulatory bodies, classification societies, and key stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to vessel Masters and crews to achieve exceptional safety and operational performance.
- Extensive knowledge of ISM Code, maritime safety, security, and environmental regulations.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic solutions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven track record in implementing effective SMS frameworks.
