We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:">
  • Review architectural and engineering drawings, project plans, and specifications.">
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work.">
  • Analyze historical data and pricing trends to improve the accuracy of estimates.">
  • Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and vendors.">
  • Develop and maintain a database of unit costs, productivity rates, and supplier pricing.">
  • Participate in bid reviews and risk analysis discussions.">
  • Coordinate with project managers to transition awarded projects into production smoothly.">
  • Assist in value engineering and cost-saving strategies.">
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates.">
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing, lead times, and product availability.">

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Estimator (3+ years preferred).">
  • Experience with estimating in residential, commercial, civil, or industrial construction.">
  • Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., ProEst, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Sage Estimating).">
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.">
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.">
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.">
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.">
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.">
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).">
