Job Title: Workday Certified Payroll Consultant

Job Description:

This is a senior role for an experienced Workday Certified Payroll Consultant who will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of Workday solutions to meet the specific needs of clients. As part of our team, you will design, configure and test Workday solutions, while also sharing your expertise with other consultants and supporting proposal preparations.

You will work closely with team members and independently manage your own workload. This role requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as business analysis and requirements gathering abilities. Additionally, the ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training is essential.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience implementing PAYROLL/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT) solutions, current active Workday Payroll Certification, and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience. Previous consulting experience with a software company and configuration/deployment experience with Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications are also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in Workday Payroll product suite.
  • Lead client deployments, including gathering and documenting business requirements, designing and configuring Workday solutions, demonstrating configurations, assisting in testing, and completing knowledge transfer.
  • Work with data conversion teams to convert legacy data into Workday.
  • Configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a professional role model.
  • Resolve complex tasks and requirements when other team members need support.
  • Facilitate clients' adoption of Workday best practices.
  • Maintain ongoing client satisfaction and ensure we are referenceable and referable once in production.
  • Provide regular status reports to project managers.
  • Contribute to and mold a culture of continuous education amongst colleagues, mentees, and managers.
