Order Operations Manager Role

This is a challenging position that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to oversee day-to-day operations in order management.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team responsible for managing the entire order cycle, from receipt to delivery, ensuring accurate execution and smooth payment collection.

  • Develop processes and systems to optimize efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain strong data integrity across all order operations systems, guaranteeing accuracy in entry, fulfillment, and invoicing.

  • Create workflows using automation tools to reduce repetitive tasks handled by the team daily.

  • Provide exceptional customer support for pre-order activities, including systemic setup and preparation of customer-specific SOPs.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Able to work full-time US-based hours.

  • Expertise in automating processes using tools like Zapier, Make, N8N.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a customer-facing role.

  • Elite organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong process-oriented skills with the ability to identify issues, create scalable processes, and implement them effectively.

  • Order processing experience, including EDI, B2B, and manual orders, with strong ERP system expertise.

  • Experience leading teams through change and managing direct reports.

  • At least 2 years of experience working in US food & beverage order operations with distributors and retailers.

  • Able to thrive in a fully remote work environment under minimal supervision.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Strong understanding of Order Operations finance.

  • Experience working in high-growth startup environments.

  • Leadership experience in implementing ERPs and improving operational efficiency.

  • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills with excellent quantitative and qualitative analytic skills.
