About the Role

This position is primarily responsible for supporting the AI COE Department Head in developing use cases that leverage AI algorithms to solve business challenges and drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and programming languages such as Python and R.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with business users and other team members to identify business problems and challenges that can be solved using AI techniques.
  • Performing data preparation and management, data exploration, and analysis prior to model development.
  • Developing AI models to solve business problems and challenges identified.
  • Optimizing models to improve performance and minimize error rates.
  • Deploying models in the cloud and on other internal systems and applications to scale applications.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • At least 3 years of working experience in a related field.
  • A bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or any related course.
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Dataiku, SAS, R, and Python.
  • Fundamental knowledge of AI algorithms (e.g., Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Forecasting, and Optimization).
  • Ability to clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis (e.g., feature engineering).
  • Ability to create intuitive and insightful data visualizations as well as data exploration analysis.
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms for training and deploying AI models.
  • Time management skills and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex AI concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
