Remote IT Support Specialist Role Overview

This position is responsible for delivering top-notch technical assistance to employees across the organization, leveraging expertise in PC hardware, Windows 10/11, and Apple iOS devices. As a key member of the support team, you will diagnose and resolve complex IT issues remotely, ensuring seamless communication with users to facilitate prompt resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver expert technical support for PCs, Windows operating systems, and Apple mobile devices.
  • Employ advanced diagnostic techniques to resolve hardware, software, and network issues remotely.
  • Document and manage support requests through the FreshService ITSM/ticketing platform, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with users to facilitate prompt and efficient resolutions.
  • Evaluate and escalate complex incidents to senior technicians as necessary, adhering to company security and confidentiality policies.

  • Exceptional proficiency in organizational management, time-management, and follow-up strategies.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when addressing sensitive requests.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills supporting employees at all organizational levels.
  • Prior experience providing support for PC hardware, Windows 10/11, and Apple iOS devices.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Comprehensive understanding of ITIL principles and IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks.
