**Accounting Manager Role at Camara Custodio & Co., CPAs**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to join our team at Camara Custodio & Co., CPAs. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our accounting department and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and management principles, with experience in supervising and delegating tasks to a team of accounting staff members. You should possess excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong understanding of accounting and financial legislation.

**Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and motivate accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks.
  • Evaluate, develop, and improve department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee the daily activities of the accounting department and ensure that all major projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Ensure that all accounting processes align with PFRS and current financial legislation.
  • Analyze financial data and create reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties, such as vendors or lenders.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records and participate in audits or reconciliations, as needed.
  • Assist other departments as they develop strategies, establish objectives, and make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business.

**Requirements:**

  • Work on-site
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA preferred, but not required
  • Experience working as an internal accountant for a company
  • Basic understanding of cost accounting for Construction Industry/Specialized Contracting Work
  • Experience in Management, Accounting, or a related field may be preferred
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles
  • Exceptional math skills
  • Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping software and MS Office
  • High level of efficiency and accuracy
  • Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Honesty and Integrity
