Job Opportunity: Customer Service Representative

MCI is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill a temporary, remote position as customer service representatives. This role requires the ability to apply the latest customer service techniques and learn our account management systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers with service inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Develop knowledge of common requests and solutions to improve customer satisfaction
  • Continuously improve the customer experience through effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Utilize service techniques and systems to resolve customer issues efficiently
  • Escalate complex customer dissatisfaction to proper channels for resolution
Requirements:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words per minute)
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow up on customer issues effectively
  • An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious)
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team orientation and customer focus
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where change and ambiguity prevail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers alike
Working Conditions:

This job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this role, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset.
