Mental Health Counselor Job Description

\

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to facilitate programs that improve the mental health and well-being of clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in psychotherapy and consultation, with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of client needs.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring consultations and psychotherapy sessions are aligned with our scheduling system and teleconsultation protocols. They will also collaborate with the Mental Health team on client triaging and escalations, and develop holistic mental health interventions for clients.

\

Additionally, the Mental Health Counselor will coordinate with the Mental Health team and other representatives to align protocols, provide operational reports, and assist with other requests related to the mental health program. This includes assessing clients' mental and emotional well-being through wellness check-ins and emergency handling, and monitoring program effectiveness to suggest necessary improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure consultations and psychotherapy sessions are aligned with our scheduling system and teleconsultation protocols\

Requirements:

  • Currently taking a Master's degree in Psychology;\
  • Willingness to work from home during the mid-day shift;\
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Google Workspace\
  • Preferably has a background in Mental Health or Employee Assistance Programs\
