The primary objective of this role is to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of our online store. This involves overseeing and managing all aspects of the Shopify platform to meet business objectives.
This position requires maintaining brand consistency, enhancing site functionality, and executing marketing campaigns that drive traffic, conversions, and customer loyalty.
About the RoleAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing multi-channel brand marketing strategies across digital and experiential platforms.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure a consistent brand message across all touchpoints.
Market trends and competitor activity analysis will inform brand positioning and new product launches.
Key Responsibilities- Store Management & Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including product listings, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure accuracy and up-to-date content, pricing, and product information.
- Manage and integrate third-party apps and plugins to enhance store functionality and user experience.
- Brand & Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve business goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a unified brand message across all channels.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform brand positioning and new product development.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key e-commerce metrics such as sales, conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
- Utilize data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement A/B testing on site elements, marketing campaigns, and user flows.
- Optimize the store for search engine visibility (SEO) and user experience (UX) to improve site traffic and conversions.
- Collaboration & Project Management:
- Work collaboratively with design and development teams to scope and launch new features, design updates, and custom functionality for the Shopify storefront.
- Translate business needs and creative vision into actionable requirements for developers.
- Coordinate project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely execution of site enhancements and redesigns.
- Customer Experience & Communication:
- Ensure an exceptional and seamless customer journey from browsing to post-purchase.
- Proactively engage with customers to gather feedback, address concerns, and foster a strong community around the brand.
- Work closely with the customer service team to address and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
- Experience: Minimum of [e.g., 3-5] years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or brand management. Demonstrated experience managing a Shopify-based store is essential.
- Technical Skills: Excellent understanding of the Shopify platform and its backend functions. Proficiency in e-commerce analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics). Familiarity with digital marketing channels, including paid ads, email marketing, and social media.
- Core Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with a high degree of autonomy. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
