US Accounting Professional

Our organization is seeking an accomplished Accounting Manager to fill a key role in their team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and assume responsibility for core accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Analyze general ledger accounts and provide insights on significant variances.
  • Prepare internal financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and support management with variance analysis and commentary on financial trends and results.
  • Reconcile all balance sheet accounts in FloQast, ensuring resolution of discrepancies and maintaining data integrity.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of required tax forms, including sales and use tax, business licenses, and annual reports.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies, U.S. GAAP, and other relevant regulations.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to streamline and automate accounting processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve workflows and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA certification or active progress toward CPA is a plus.
  • 4+ years of accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial controls.
  • Experience in both public accounting and corporate accounting environments preferred but not required.
