We are seeking a Business Support Analyst to ensure users have a stable, reliable and high performing AABOR. The successful candidate will be accountable for performing daily operations and providing support to business users in addressing easy to moderate business issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and Clearing SCD Message Queue: Ensure all transactions are elevated to final status at end of day.
  • Monitoring Shared Mailbox: Take appropriate action on emails received throughout the day.
  • Generating IOI Ad Hoc Security Requests: Monitor that security master setup occurs within an acceptable time frame (generally 30 minutes).
  • Investigating Transaction Hub Unknown Queries: Generate adhoc transactions to THUB as needed.
  • Supporting Ad Hoc Analysis: Identify root cause of production problems and develop timely solutions.
  • Executing Acceptance Test: Implementation of new security types and functionalities and system upgrade.
  • Executing and Validating Test Cases: End-to-end processes.
  • Supporting Period End Close Processes:
  • Collaboration with Business Users and Global Solutions Delivery: Create/update/maintain static data table such as Portfolio, Security, Transaction, Bank Account, Segment, Accounting configuration.
  • Identifying Opportunities: Leverage system capabilities to meet business requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of five (5) years of experience. Hands-on SCD experience would be an asset. Experience working directly with business clients in addition to application support teams is required. Previous experience in investment operations in insurance or financial services is highly valued. The ability to work independently as well as with others as part of a team is essential. The candidate must also be able to grasp new concepts and information quickly, build strong relationships with internal departments and external partners, demonstrate excellent organization and prioritization skills, and be comfortable influencing without authority.
