Job Overview

We seek an experienced professional to join our team as a Real Estate / Financial Analyst. As a key member, you will work remotely and contribute significantly to the company's success.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Weekly Funding Reports: Generate detailed reports for review.
  • Monthly Reports: Prepare comprehensive liquidity statements, multifamily market comparison reports, and economic occupancy reports.
  • Quarterly/Year-end Loan Compliance Reporting: Create in-depth reports for major lending partners.
  • Quarterly Ground Lease Reporting: Monitor reporting compliance and analyze financial variances.
  • Yardi Reports: Develop custom reports for Asset Managers and Property Managers, including rent rolls, income statements, budgets, and tenancy schedules.
  • Loan Financing/Refinancing: Assist with underwriting loan requests, prepare executive summaries, and review due diligence requirements.
  • Yearly Budget Preparation: Collaborate with Asset Managers and Property Managers to review and create accurate budgets.
  • 1031 Exchange Analysis: Identify replacement properties, calculate deferred tax gains/losses, and determine property tax basis.
  • Acquisitions/Dispositions: Conduct due diligence, review closing documents, and set up exchanges with exchange companies.
  • Summary of Acquisitions, Dispositions, Financing, and 1031 Exchanges: Maintain an updated summary of company activities and sold properties' IRR calculations.
  • Property Tax Basis Maintenance: Update and maintain the property tax basis on a quarterly basis.
  • LoanBoss Accuracy Review: Verify the accuracy of loan information in LoanBoss.
  • Special Reports: Develop reports on draw requests from Line of Credit facilities, update presentation materials, and calculate transaction gains/losses.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, and/or accounting (a plus).
  • MBA degree preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate asset management and/or acquisitions.
  • Experience with top consulting firms or top financial institutions.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills required.
  • Strong quantitative skills, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to generate high-quality work products under tight deadlines.
  • Unquestionable integrity and ethics.
