Senior Financial Executive

The successful Senior Financial Executive will play a pivotal role in crafting comprehensive financial reports for subsidiaries and the parent Group, covering operations across multiple jurisdictions. This position demands exceptional project management skills to oversee audit processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, the candidate must maintain strict adherence to regulatory requirements while fostering transparent communication with stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage financial statements for subsidiaries and the Group
  • Closely coordinate with finance teams to gather and reconcile financial information
  • Develop and refine internal controls and financial reporting processes
  • Compile financial statements compliant with relevant standards, supported by the finance team
  • Coordinate with external auditors to meet critical deadlines for audits in multiple jurisdictions
  • Proactively drive and coordinate audit processes with cross-functional teams
  • Implement strategies to ensure timely completion of audit requirements
  • Maintain rigorous oversight of audit timelines and deliverables
  • Take full responsibility for meeting and potentially accelerating reporting schedules
  • Establish robust escalation systems for financial reporting and audit issues to senior leadership and external auditors
  • Handle communications with regulatory agencies in multiple jurisdictions
  • Identify and promptly communicate potential risks and opportunities to senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Develop proactive mitigation strategies for financial reporting challenges
  • Maintain open and immediate communication channels for critical financial insights
  • Lead and drive financial reporting automation initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for technological enhancements in reporting processes
  • Implement cutting-edge automation tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Continuously evaluate and integrate innovative financial reporting technologies
  • Develop strategic automation roadmaps
  • Maintain close collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Work closely with finance teams to ensure seamless information flow and consistent reporting standards
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification required (CPA or equivalent)
  • 7-10 years of experience in financial reporting with an audit firm (Senior Manager or Director)
  • Expertise in multinational corporate environments with a presence in multiple regions is advantageous
  • Extensive track record of managing complex Group and subsidiary financial reporting
  • Advanced knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS/PFRS)
  • Expert proficiency in financial reporting software, consolidation tools, and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities
