Job Description:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting high-level analyses of revenue, cost of sales, client margins, SG&A expenses, and system data to identify historical trends, present operations, and future projections. You will work closely with senior management to provide reporting that informs critical decisions regarding revenue/clients and expense management.

Key responsibilities include analyzing statistics and applying accounting principles to analyze past and present operations as well as future revenues and expenditures. You will develop familiarity with our projection model, update metrics needed for accurate and timely projections, create financial models, prepare projections, and perform research and analysis on all aspects of finance and operations.

You will also meet with the VP of Finance to develop project plans and communicate status, update the projection model as needed to accurately project new/revised data, and communicate changes. Additionally, you will reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information, recommend financial actions based on accounting options, and assist with budgeting processes which may include information gathering, analysis, and reporting from various systems.

Other key responsibilities include designing and maintaining user reports in Business Intelligence (BI) that help analyze and provide data to other departments and Finance, using internal software and metrics to provide departmental budget and actual data, and related analyses.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong proven Excel skills to create complex analyses
  • Strong accounting skills related to the General Ledger/Financial statements and reconciliations
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience of at least 4 years of progressive duties
