Job Overview

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Senior Auditor to lead external audits of Non-Profit Organizations (NFPs) and trust accounts under relevant Australian legislation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans, ensuring compliance with Australian Auditing Standards.
  • Advise on internal controls, risk management, and technical accounting issues, providing expert guidance to our clients.
Requirements:
  • At least five years of experience in external audits, including NFP and trust account audits.
  • Proficient in using audit software, advanced Excel, and financial reporting tools, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards, AASB frameworks, and NFP compliance regulations.
  • Proven track record of testing controls over payroll, procurement, revenue recognition, and grant acquittals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports, client liaison, and presentations.
  • Reliable internet connectivity, suitable hardware, and a quiet workspace are essential for success in this role.
