Senior Financial Planning and Reporting Expert

Jacobs is looking for a skilled Senior Financial Planning and Reporting Expert to join our Global Finance team. This is a 100% remote work opportunity that supports the U.S. Central Time hours.

This role will influence strategic decision-making, drive financial performance, and champion digital innovation within our finance organization.

We're seeking an expert who can lead critical initiatives across financial planning, business partnership, and process innovation.

About the Role

This Senior Financial Planning and Reporting Expert will be responsible for leading financial reporting and analysis across critical business areas.

  • Manage the monthly forecast and annual budget cycles, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Summarize complex monthly and quarterly results into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Build financial models, develop 'what-if' scenarios, and perform risk analyses to inform key initiatives.
Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Planning and Reporting Expert will partner closely with Finance leadership to shape and support financial strategies. They will also monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create executive dashboards to support business performance reviews.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate financial insights into broader business strategies.
  • Assist in preparing financial materials for senior leadership meetings.
  • Drive continuous improvement by adopting AI tools, machine learning-enabled forecasts, and data visualization platforms.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Substantial experience in FP&A or financial analysis.
  • Strong expertise in P&L management, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
