Job Title:

A highly skilled and detail-oriented accountant is sought after to perform part-time ongoing work involving the clean-up of past financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconstruct monthly Profit & Loss statements for a 2-year period
  • Ensure all accounts are accurately reconciled
  • Generate comprehensive reports for legal counsel, including Profit & Loss Statements, Payroll Tax Summary, Sales Tax Liability Reports, and Balance Sheets
  • Maintain strict compliance with U.S. accounting standards and tax requirements
  • Deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Foster open communication throughout the project

Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Proven experience working with U.S.-based companies
  • Deep understanding of U.S. tax regulations, particularly Texas Sales Tax and IRS Form 941
  • Expertise in financial reconstruction and reconciliation
  • Ability to produce accurate, audit-ready reports
  • Responsive, detail-oriented, deadline-driven professional

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (desired)
  • Background in legal or bankruptcy-related financial reviews
