Financial Planning Analyst Role Summary

The Financial Planning Analyst role is a critical position in our organization, responsible for providing financial planning and analysis support to ensure the effective management of our operations. This individual will be instrumental in developing and implementing financial plans, analyzing financial data, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.

This key member of our team will also be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing financial planning and analysis support to senior management
  • Developing and implementing financial plans and budgets
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Creating financial reports and presenting findings to stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards

For this challenging and rewarding role, we are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Analyst with a degree in accountancy or a related field, certified public accountant certification, and at least 8 years of experience in finance and/or accounting. The successful candidate will also have proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
