As part of this legacy, the HR Assistant plays a pivotal role in implementing human resources policies and procedures. This includes employment, recruitment, training, employee benefits, timekeeping, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • The HR Assistant coordinates the employment process, ensuring timely hiring of qualified applicants for vacant positions.
  • This involves working closely with department heads to understand manpower requirements and coordinating screening activities such as scheduling interviews and obtaining applicant documents.
  • The HR Assistant also conducts preliminary employee orientation, introduces new employees to their department heads, and facilitates their integration into the organization.
  • Additional responsibilities include maintaining, organizing, and updating employee records, tracking benefits, training, and development, preparing attendance records, and submitting data to relevant government agencies.
  • This position also involves assisting in the preparation and submission of monthly reports, participating in company-wide events, and disseminating employee communication and memos.
  • The HR Assistant prepares employment certificates, assists employees with inquiries, sets up meetings, takes minutes, and performs housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean work environment.
  • Other duties may be assigned by superiors or required to support other work areas.
Qualifications
  • A college graduate with a degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in human resources or administrative roles, with exposure to recruitment, record-keeping, and employee relations.
