Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain professional to lead our procurement and inventory management efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning, with experience in managing inventory levels, coordinating with suppliers, and analyzing data to inform business decisions.

This role requires a high level of analytical skill, as well as excellent communication and project management abilities. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

  • The key responsibilities of this position include:
  • Developing and executing supply chain improvement projects to support sustainable stock availability and reduce excess inventory.
  • Conducting daily projections of results and identifying risk/gap in achieving goals and targets for the month.
  • Monitoring finished goods inventory and supply levels to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Managing supplier performance and escalating issues to immediate superiors as needed.
  • Compiling and analyzing data to monitor and control performance, including but not limited to inventory opportunities and action item commitment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A 4-year degree in a related field such as supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years' experience in supply chain, preferably in purchasing and/or supply planning.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Oracle database level systems, as well as electronic collaboration tools.
  • Good analytical skills, with ability to adopt and analyze processes, enact change, think operationally and strategically to achieve business goals.
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills, with ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint skills, Access PC skills.
