Job Overview

This is a remote accounts receivable accountant position. The role involves working with commercial real estate investment firms in the Western United States.

The company has a 30-year track record and a balance sheet that allows for quick decision-making and creative structuring of acquisitions.

Key responsibilities include preparing commercial billing, sending tenant statements, posting leases, and managing relationships with tenants and property management companies.

Delinquent account follow-up and collection are also key responsibilities of this role.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Accounting degree required
  • Must have graduated with Latin honors (cum laude or better)
  • CPA license required
  • 2-4 years of full-time accounting experience
  • Broad based accounting for real estate experience a plus
  • Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization and externally with tenants and other outside parties
