Risk Governance Strategist

Join a key team as a Risk Governance Strategist, reporting to the Vice President of Data, Assurance & Risk Governance. This role is crucial in establishing and maintaining an effective risk management framework that aligns with Shell's Performance Framework.

You will be responsible for managing and coordinating E C risk management within SECO, utilizing your expertise to develop and enhance risk management and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining fit-for-purpose risk management processes to support risk reporting.
  • Maintaining the documentation of the risk heatmap and ensuring a clear audit trail in decision-making.
  • Monitoring changes in the risk environment and evaluating the effectiveness of actions taken to manage identified risks.
  • Supporting the Vice President in preparing input for Chief Ethics & Compliance Officers (CECO) risk reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinating and working with Managers on risk reporting processes and outcomes.

What you bring to the table:

  • Degree in Risk Management or equivalent.
  • Mastery of risk methodology and application in businesses/functions.
  • Expertise in preparing reporting for senior management up to Executive Committee level.
  • Ability to effectively challenge and influence while remaining commercially focused.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, influencing at a senior global level and across multiple stakeholders/partners.
