As a skilled Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all financial records, adhering to established accounting standards and company policies.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Closing Activities: Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct thorough account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support business operations, providing accurate data and analysis for budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and explanations to support internal and external audits.
  • Accounting Policies: Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and support business operations.
  • Special Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with experience in a large accounting firm.
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • ERP Experience: Experience with accounting software and ERP systems preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
