Job Title: Senior Financial Operations Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage daily AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations across international entities.
  • Process invoices, manage payments, and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Verify and process employee reimbursements, ensuring policy compliance and adherence to company procedures.
  • Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate records and compliance.
  • Assist in preparing P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Perform month-end close tasks, including reconciliations and variance resolution.
  • Support VAT/GST, payroll, and corporate tax filings.
  • Track expenses and recommend cost-control improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in AP, payroll, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with both Australian and US accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS & local accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Xero, NetSuite, or similar accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel skills & exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
