
Refrigeration Support Specialist

The Refrigeration Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of refrigeration systems. This involves managing administrative tasks, monitoring system performance, and maintaining accurate records and compliance documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor refrigeration systems to identify potential issues and notify relevant personnel for prompt resolution. Generate comprehensive reports on system performance, maintenance schedules, and incidents.
- Administrative Support: Maintain meticulous records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Coordinate schedules with technicians and vendors for routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Communication and Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between refrigeration technicians, facility managers, and external vendors. Communicate system alerts or malfunctions promptly to relevant teams.
- Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all refrigeration logs, compliance records, and safety certifications are up-to-date and filed appropriately. Assist with audits and regulatory compliance documentation.
- Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory related to refrigeration, including spare parts and refrigerant supplies. Order necessary materials and maintain an organized supply system.
- General Administrative Tasks: Answer calls, handle correspondence, and manage data entry for refrigeration-related operations. Provide support for budgeting and cost-tracking for refrigeration maintenance and repairs.
- Previous experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a technical or facilities management environment.
- Familiarity with refrigeration systems or facility operations is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of refrigeration monitoring software or related technologies.
- Understanding of safety and compliance requirements for refrigeration systems.
