Backend Data Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supporting complex data transformations, creating repeatable processes for data enrichment workflows, and monitoring and facilitating data refresh cycles. They will also be expected to collaborate with the Data Quality and Delivery teams to resolve ingestion-related data quality issues.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have hands-on experience developing automated data workflows in Alteryx or similar ETL tools, strong SQL skills, and working knowledge of programming languages such as R and Python. They should also have excellent analytical skills and be able to identify bottlenecks and refactor logic or infrastructure to scale with growing data volumes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using ETL/ELT tools.
  • Implement and support complex data transformations.
  • Create repeatable processes for data enrichment workflows.
  • Monitor and facilitate data refresh cycles.
  • Collaborate with the Data Quality and Delivery teams to resolve ingestion-related data quality issues.
Required Skills
