We are seeking a senior backend engineer with expertise in scalable software development and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust backend software solutions.
  • Owning the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborating with others, conducting code reviews, and promoting technical excellence.
  • Developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for rapid, reliable deployments.
Infrastructure & DevOps:
  • Building and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions using CDK, Terraform, Docker, and AWS.
  • Developing automation solutions to streamline deployments, system configuration, and monitoring.
  • Managing and maintaining user access controls, permissions, and infrastructure-level security across environments.
Monitoring, Observability & Reliability:
  • Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems using AWS CloudWatch, Sentry, and Jira
  • Service Management to track application health and system reliability.
  • Defining and managing alerts, logs, and dashboards that proactively identify and resolve performance or availability issues.
Security:
  • Applying security best practices across code, infrastructure, and deployments.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to uphold compliance and system integrity.

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience, along with 7+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong backend development focus. Proven experience with infrastructure and DevOps, including CI/CD, automation, and monitoring is also required. Additionally, hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Terraform, and GitHub Actions is necessary.
