Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to join our team as a Staff Accountant. This role is ideal for individuals who possess strong analytical skills and have experience in financial reporting, account reconciliations, and invoicing management.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with monthly financial close and related activities
  • Analyze and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Manage client accounts receivables and process invoices efficiently
  • Process client accounts payable, including approval workflows and issue resolution
  • Communicate and report to tax agencies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Address client and third-party inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed, providing insights to drive business growth
  • Evaluate assignments to meet quality standards, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Identify and communicate engagement matters to clients, managers, and partners, fostering strong relationships
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Invoicing, accounts receivable management, and collections expertise, with proficiency in web-based accounting software applications
  • Accounts payable entries and issue resolution skills, with a strong understanding of accruals and prepaid expense analysis
  • Account reconciliation, with a focus on identifying and addressing discrepancies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, with advanced skills in data analysis and visualization
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends
