About the Position

This is a remote job that involves bookkeeping.

Availability and Schedule:

The position requires working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Mountain Standard Time).

Total Weekly Hours:

40 hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage accounts payable processes for two companies efficiently.
  2. Process, verify, and record vendor invoices accurately in QuickBooks.
  3. Coordinate intercompany transactions between mechanical and transport divisions effectively.
  4. Implement and maintain tracking systems for vendor payments securely.
  5. Collaborate with the service writer to ensure proper documentation of financial records.
  6. Reconcile financial records to prevent payment delays.
  7. Develop improved financial workflows and document them properly.
  8. Generate regular accounts payable and vendor reports.
  9. Maintain accurate digital financial records.
  10. Identify and resolve payment discrepancies proactively.
Administrative Coordination:
  • Maintain updated vendor and customer contact lists for efficient communication.
  • Assist in organizing quarterly meetings and budget reviews for the team.
  • Keep digital folders structured and ensure financial reports are saved in the shared drive for easy access.
Requirements:
  • At least three years of experience in bookkeeping, particularly with North American clients.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks software.
  • Experience managing multi-company accounting operations effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable practices and procedures.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Proven ability to improve processes and document systems for better efficiency.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Experience handling sensitive financial data confidentially.
  • Comfortable working independently with clear communication channels.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and ensuring smooth transactions.
  • A dedicated home workspace with reliable internet connection.
