Job Title: Video Editor/Social Media Manager

We're seeking a skilled video editor to create engaging short-form content for social media platforms. This role involves turning raw footage into visually appealing videos that resonate with our audience.

This is a part-time position with the potential to transition into full-time, requiring 15 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will be able to manage their time effectively and work independently in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay updated on current social media trends to ensure content remains relevant and engaging.
  • Edit 4-5 short-form videos (20 seconds each) weekly using raw footage from Google Drive, incorporating basic edits like captions, transitions, and branding.
  • Create simple, on-brand graphics and maintain a consistent visual style across all content.
  • Write engaging captions, schedule posts for peak engagement, and publish content to Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder for approvals, taking creative feedback well and making necessary revisions.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in video editing tools like CapCut, InShot, Adobe Premiere Rush, or similar.
  • Experience managing social media accounts, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • A keen eye for visuals and storytelling through video.
  • Able to create content matching brand tone for a youth-oriented audience.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and good at managing time independently.
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant short-form video and social media examples.

Nice to Have:

  • Understanding of youth trends and content.
  • Creative and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe, or other editing tools.
