Key Position

The role of Key Writer will be an integral part of the team.

We are seeking a creative and highly skilled content creator to join our growing team as a freelance writer. This position requires combining deep understanding of industry trends with expertise in writing for digital platforms.

Our ideal candidate will have experience working on beauty brands, specifically in creating engaging content that resonates with audiences. We also welcome candidates who have experience working with AI software and are passionate about its applications in the field.

  • Write, research, and conceptualise innovative content that sparks interest and encourages sharing
  • Develop short and long-form articles tailored to specific audience needs
  • Repurpose existing content to suit various uses
  • Mastery of different brand voices is crucial for this role
  • Collaborate closely with clients to deliver strong concepts from initial briefing through to execution
  • Drive creativity and ensure high-quality content through close work with the Creative Director-Copy and Data Strategists
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant trending topics and news to identify opportunities for impactful content creation
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience writing for digital media, with comfort creating SEO-optimised content
  • Background in corporate or journalism environment
  • Thorough understanding of industry language and consumer needs
  • Experience publishing through social media channels and content management systems
  • Able to think creatively when necessary, utilising skills such as conceptual thinking
  • Strong grasp of how content interacts across multiple mediums
  • Data-driven approach to inform creative decisions
  • Presentation and communication skills
