Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the security of our organization by ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Coordinate external audits, collaborate with auditors to provide necessary documentation, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Identify and assess gaps in security controls, develop strategies for improvement, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on security frameworks, influencing our organization's security strategy and policies.
  • Develop and implement security standards, guidelines, and policies that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability evaluations to evaluate our organization's security posture and assets.
  • Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure coherent security practices across departments.
  • Review change management requests to ensure alignment with compliance frameworks and security standards, providing recommendations for mitigating potential risks associated with proposed changes.
  • Assist in assessing security compliance requirements in contracts, offering guidance and support in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing contractual terms related to data protection and security measures.
  • Prepare and present regular updates to senior leadership on the status of security initiatives and audit findings.

Security assurance requires extensive experience with cybersecurity frameworks, including HITRUST, SOC, ISO 27001, NIST, and PCI DSS. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex security issues and implement effective solutions.
