Transformative Solutions Architect

This role bridges the gap between Technology and core Corporate Functions in the group, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term organisational goals.

The ideal candidate will work closely with delivery teams to contribute and develop architecture for a broad scope of projects. They will also help determine corresponding system designs to drive the organisation's targeted business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Contributing to the system solutions of large, strategic, complex system development projects involving multiple platforms.
  • Reviewing and ensuring architectural designs are consistent, maintainable, flexible, and in line with the strategic direction of the business.
  • Acting as a liaison between business functions and the technology organization to enable communication of strategic direction and initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering lead/architecture related roles, preferably in the finance sector. They will also have experience contributing to architecture governance, including participation in architecture review boards.

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or other technical subject, or equivalent experience.
  • Good analytical and technical skills, ability to use UML to deliver design artifacts.
  • Understanding of agile methods and processes, and capability of working with agile project teams.
