Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Professional to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating security threats, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems and data.

This is a full-time remote role that involves performing penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and working proactively on risk reduction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage the Security Operations Centre (SOC) across multiple environments, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for threat detection and response incidents, providing timely and effective solutions to mitigate potential risks.
  • Monitor and analyse security alerts, events, and logs using advanced Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools, identifying patterns and trends to inform security decisions.
  • Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses, recommending remediation strategies to ensure the highest level of security.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of security incidents, providing detailed recommendations for remediation and implementing proactive measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our security posture.
  • Generate reports and documentation for security incidents, assessments, and recommendations, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 years of experience in the security field, with a proven track record of success in identifying and mitigating security threats.
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint protection software, with hands-on experience in web application penetration testing and network penetration testing.
  • Experience with SIEM tools, including building and administering complex security infrastructures.
  • Log Analysis experience, utilizing tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, NMAP, etc.
  • Experience using vulnerability management tools, e.g., Nessus.
  • Hands-on experience with OWASP, WFUZZ, Metasploit, Burp Suite, sqlbrute, sqlninja, sqlmap, and other security tools.
