Cyber Security Specialist Role

This crucial position involves safeguarding digital assets and information against cyber threats. The successful candidate will assess security risks, develop effective security measures, and maintain vigilance to ensure system and data integrity.


Key Responsibilities
  • Threat Identification and Monitoring: Identify and analyze potential security threats by monitoring system logs, network traffic, and security tools; stay updated on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Incident Response: Respond swiftly to security incidents, investigate breaches, and provide timely resolutions. Develop incident-response plans and collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate and recover from reported security breaches.
  • Conduct assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in systems and applications; develop strategies for remediating vulnerabilities and minimizing potential risks.

Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; college-level education with related coursework in information technology and computer science, with 1 year minimum experience.
  • Fundamental log analysis and troubleshooting analysis skills; strong understanding of networking protocols and operating systems; able to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to evolving cyber threats.
