Senior Finance Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering and consolidating financial and operational data from multiple departments.

Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the reliability and consistency of financial and business data by verifying outputs and establishing quality control measures. You will also assist in preparing clear, accurate financial reports and visual presentations for the management team.

In addition, you will contribute to the budgeting and forecasting process by supplying relevant financial data and supporting model development. You will continuously monitor performance metrics across business units and help identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improving data reporting processes and business outcomes.

You will ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards. You will also collaborate with third-party payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.

About You:

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accountancy and/or other related courses
  • At least five years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge and experience in using ERP systems
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in managing accounts receivable and payable processes
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
