Technical Project Manager Opportunity

This role combines project management skills with technical expertise in database systems, backend processes, and software development. As a Technical Project Manager, you will oversee project execution, collaborate with clients and stakeholders, and own data handling and modeling associated with our data delivery projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management: Oversee the project lifecycle, ensure timely collection and delivery of data, identify customer business goals, collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain clear communication, ensure customer satisfaction.
  2. Technical Expertise: Understand backend system development, participate in data modeling processes, provide guidance on database normalization, write advanced SQL queries, optimize databases, handle data cleaning, data munging, and data visualization using SQL and Python.
  3. Tool Usage: Manage and analyze large data volumes, use tools like labelstud.io for data labeling, basic HTML knowledge required.
  4. Collaboration & Process Improvement: Collaborate with team members, embody startup flexibility, engage in community activities, enhance processes and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in a technical or software development context.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge for writing queries for larger volumes of data.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, Google Sheets and/or Excel experience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, systematic problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in culturally diverse environments, valuing collaboration and diverse perspectives.
