Job Description:

Lead Academic Operations Specialist

This role requires exceptional English communication and writing skills to work fully remotely. The job holder will play a critical part in the success of our organization by launching new programs, coordinating and managing remote teachers, planning and data analysis of program efficacy, streamlining communication with stakeholders, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively support regional operations in a virtual environment.
  • Deliver outstanding academic services to students and their families.
  • Operate seamlessly in a virtual setting.
  • Maintain operating standards including people, financial, and academic requirements.
  • Ensure delivery of programs and initiatives for students and school district partners.
  • Meet operational excellence standards.
  • Provide virtual administrative support to regional operations, including phone management, daily business data management, and schedule creation/management with students and teachers.
  • Manage class schedules to effectively staff sessions and meet efficiency and usage targets.
  • Manage virtual tutoring sessions.
  • Monitor all students' academic progress.
  • Guarantee flawless execution of programs and initiatives.
  • Manage time effectively in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct conferences with partner program directors to review progress, adjust academic plans, and renew enrollments.
  • Other responsibilities as required by the business.
  • Develop strong relationships with students and their families.
  • Dedicate to meeting internal and external customer expectations and requirements.
  • Foster an environment of open communication with students and parents to ensure positive and effective conflict resolution.

  • Communicate effectively in virtual environments.
  • Proficient in using various communication media, including in-person, phone, and video.
  • Build engagement and trust in virtual relationships with customers or team members.

  • Learning agility – adapt to changes in the work environment by adjusting behaviors as required.
  • Able to acquire new skills as needed.
  • Engage, manage, and grow virtual relationships with customers, employees, and business partners.
  • Manage remote teachers.
  • Work independently.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 2-3 years of progressive career growth.
  • Experience working in a virtual operations and team environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
