Game Designer

At Play'n GO, we create world-class online slot games that captivate players across the globe. We're seeking a passionate and analytical Game Designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity and precision.

This role involves designing slot game mechanics from the ground up, including base gameplay, bonus features, progression systems, and monetization models. Our ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of game math, including probability, RTP, volatility, hit frequency, and paytable logic.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing engaging UX flows and intuitive UI layouts that complement the game mechanics and enhance the overall experience.
  • Collaborating with mathematicians, developers, artists, producers, and QA to ensure alignment and successful execution from concept to live game.
  • Regularly playtesting and analyzing prototypes and production builds, providing clear feedback and actionable suggestions to refine gameplay and balance.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, player preferences, and competitor titles to continually evolve our design thinking and product innovation.

What We Ask Of You:

  • A proven track record in slot or casino game design, ideally with titles that have gone to market.
  • Strong skills in user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) principles, with the ability to drive retention and engagement through player interaction.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to align creative and technical teams around a shared vision.
  • Experience mentoring junior designers or contributing to design reviews and ideation workshops.

Tools & Skills You're Comfortable With:

  • Design and prototyping tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, or equivalents.
  • Project management and documentation platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and working closely with development teams.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical mindset, with comfort using probability, statistics, and spreadsheets for balancing and modeling.
