We're on the hunt for an innovative and detail-oriented artist who can bring our projects to life through captivating visuals and intuitive user experiences. As a 2D Game Artist/UI Designer, you have the unique opportunity to craft military-themed assets and mobile-optimized interfaces that enhance player engagement and streamline in-game interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and illustrate high-quality 2D assets with a military theme for use in casino-style mobile games, showcasing your expertise in creating visually stunning and immersive experiences.
  • Develop responsive and visually appealing UI layouts optimized for various mobile devices, ensuring seamless navigation and intuitive interaction.
  • Apply best practices in mobile game UI/UX design to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience, balancing functionality and aesthetics.
  • Create user interface elements that align with engagement and retention strategies common in casino games, driving player satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with game developers, product owners, and other artists to ensure consistent design execution and cohesive project vision.
  • Participate in the iteration process by incorporating feedback and improving visuals/UI elements based on player experience data, refining your designs to meet evolving player needs.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

Must-haves:

  • Proven experience in 2D game art and UI/UX design for mobile games, showcasing your ability to create engaging and interactive experiences.
  • Familiarity with cassino game UI patterns and engagement design principles, enabling you to craft effective and compelling user experiences.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design for mobile optimization, ensuring seamless navigation and intuitive interaction across various devices.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar software, allowing you to create high-quality visual assets and iterate efficiently.
  • Portfolio showcasing military-themed visuals and mobile UI work, demonstrating your expertise in creating immersive and engaging experiences.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in doing concept/Illustration art for Slot/Casino gaming is a major plus, expanding your skillset and versatility.
  • Familiarity with 3D software (e.g., 3DS Max, ZBrush, or Maya) + game engines is a plus, broadening your technical capabilities and adaptability.
  • Experience working in cross-functional game dev teams, promoting collaboration and cohesive project vision.
  • Basic knowledge of Unity or game implementation processes, enhancing your understanding of game development pipelines.
  • Ability to create visual assets that align with monetization and user engagement strategies, driving player satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, facilitating effective teamwork and stakeholder management.
