About the unit:

Last Mile Unit focuses on the final stage of delivery, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for customers. This unit tackles challenges like efficient routing in dense areas, on-time deliveries, and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations to meet Key Results Areas such as cost per parcel, pick-up / RTS success rates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor Assistant Station Heads/Officers and ensure proper staffing during extended/weekend operations.

Key Tasks:

  1. Assist in operational and administrative processes including inventory management, rider and route management, cash collection management, and updating the Rider master list.
  2. Manage day-to-day operations in the absence of the SH.
  3. Conduct rider training to ensure adherence to Ninja Van SOPs/Policies/Protocols.
  4. Monitor rider performance and ensure sound financial status through proper assessment and management.
  5. Analyse hubs, provide feedback, and suggest solutions for improvement.
  6. Ensure proper scanning and updating of parcels and shipments in our logistics application.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience in supply chain/logistics.
  • Proven cross-functional experience proposing and executing initiatives that require multi-department collaboration.
  • Basic knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Office.
  • Prior experience in a start-up or logistics company is preferred but not required.
