Job Summary

Home-Based Junior Financial Analyst

DCX is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home-Based Junior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and consolidation of annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support near- and long-term profit and loss (P&L) forecasting, including preparing weekly and 12-month rolling cash forecasts.
  • Assist in data gathering, developing, and consolidating annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts, collaborating with cost center managers.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies between actual and budgeted figures.
  • Prepare management reports related to monthly variance analysis and other components of the monthly financial package.
  • Support financial reviews, presentations, and discussions with cost center managers and senior leadership.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • One to three years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, databases, and accounting software.
  • Knowledgeable of Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, and other relevant tools.
  • In-depth understanding of US and PH accounting principles and standards.

  • Client-facing experience.
  • Previous working experience as an offshore staff is highly advantageous.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Being a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
